Well, we just had our 20-week sonogram this afternoon, and the baby is officially a girl. Now we can start focusing on picking a name. The photo here is a profile of our daughter’s head. If you’re having trouble making out the details, imagine that the baby is lying on its back with the top of its head pointing to the right. You can make out the nose and lips and even the eye socket and ear once you get your bearings.

Almost forgot… her weight at the time of the sonogram today was 12 oz. According to our sonogram technician, that weight is “just right” for 20 weeks.

Thanks. We’ll take that name into consideration.
Penn & Gilly:
Congratulations to both of you. Now you can concentrate on gender specific names. Where will “she” be born? Is the hospital in Dublin?
DOD
She will be born at San Ramon Medical Center (SRMC) in San Ramon. It’s about 10 minutes north of us off 680.
This is fun. And I get to read other people’s comments. Who’s DOD?
DOD = Dear Old Dad
Random image is right! Where did the photo of Uncle James, Gilly, and a cow come from????????????
Now, I know I am partial to baby girls. Has anyone suggested Penny for a name? You can do better than that, I’m sure. It’s exciting to be up-dated on all of the current news. Love from Ama Betty
