Does this mean we’re completely decided on the name? Yeah, pretty much. I’m 100% in favor of Arden Rae as a first and middle name, but Gilly will only commit to being 99.8% sure (I didn’t make that up, she really said 99.8%). The reason she gives for not committing completely is, “What if she comes out and doesn’t look like an Arden?” I really don’t buy in to this excuse. I think naming her based on what she looks like when she comes out is a terrible idea. Conehead Brimberry just doesn’t have a very nice ring to it. ;)

In all seriousness, it’s looking like Arden Rae is the name we’re going with. Of course, a friend of mine just told me yesterday about a couple he knows who just gave birth to a baby who was supposed to be a girl and, to their surprise, came out a boy. So I guess it would be prudent for us to have a back up boy’s name just in case.
