Those of you who check this blog regularly have probably noticed that its title, Arden’s Saga, hasn’t changed. Does this mean we’re completely decided on the name? Yeah, pretty much. I’m 100% in favor of Arden Rae as a first and middle name, but Gilly will only commit to being 99.8% sure (I didn’t make that up, she really said 99.8%). The reason she gives for not committing completely is, “What if she comes out and doesn’t look like an Arden?” I really don’t buy in to this excuse. I think naming her based on what she looks like when she comes out is a terrible idea. Conehead Brimberry just doesn’t have a very nice ring to it.
In all seriousness, it’s looking like Arden Rae is the name we’re going with. Of course, a friend of mine just told me yesterday about a couple he knows who just gave birth to a baby who was supposed to be a girl and, to their surprise, came out a boy. So I guess it would be prudent for us to have a back up boy’s name just in case.

An excellent point. Kylie would have been Little Sumo Mc if we chose her name based on looks.
Arden Rae Brimberry. You’ve guaranteed her a front row seat in class every year! Less than two months until we find out for sure.
Hi from a Texas Brimberry-in-law cousin. Your dad let me know about this website and I’m glad to find it! I’m a new grandmother of Arden’s soon to be third or fourth cousin, Daniel Brimberry, in San Antonio. That Brimberry name is a real source of pride, right? And Arden is a beautiful name. I’m sure she’ll fit it well.
