<wpg2>1751</wpg2>Arden’s constant eating has always been a source of amusement, but this past week things have gotten ridiculous. To give you just a glimpse of what she’s able to put away at the tender age of 13 months, we made a list of everything she ate this past Sunday:

( And yes, that’s corn on the cob in the photo…)

Breakfast:

3 slices pumpkin bread

4 oz apricot mango greek yogurt

1 oz pomegranate greek yogurt

Elevensies:

1 handful shredded cheese

1 oz watermelon chunks

2 Tbs. cottage cheese

4 oz pureed rasberries & pears

4 oz pureed winter squash

Pre-Lunch Snack:

Snack trap (about 1/2 cup) full of Cheerios

1/4 cup green peas

Lunch:

2 Tbs. sweet corn

1 handful shredded cheese

1/2 cup homemade mashed potatoes

1/4 cup Cuban style black beans

A few freeze-dried strawberries

1/4 cup spanish rice

Pre-Dinner Snack:

Snacktrap full of multigrain crackers

Snacktrap full of organic cracker and cheese sandwiches

Dinner:

1 oz watermelon chunks

2 oz spinach and potato puree

2 avocado slices

1 shredded beef mini-taco

1/4 cup mac and cheese w/ ground buffalo

All of this was paired with generous gulps of water, whole milk, and breast milk.

Phew!

Is it any wonder that her “first word” was the sign for “eat”? She gives the sign first thing when she wakes up in the morning and after naps, and about every hour and a half after that.
