<p style="text-align: center;">Arden had a fun little birthday play date in Walnut Creek this year celebrating with friends. The theme was bubble play and we celebrated with fun in the sun, bubbles, and cupcakes.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.brimberry.org/saga/wpg2?g2_itemId=2628"><img class="g2image_centered" title="May2009 136" src="http://www.brimberry.org/photogallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&amp;g2_itemId=2630&amp;g2_GALLERYSID=1d0f2f2fc70039b279e53c9303b9c031" alt="May2009 136" width="150" height="150" /></a><a href="http://www.brimberry.org/saga/wpg2?g2_itemId=2628"><img class="g2image_centered" title="May2009 222" src="http://www.brimberry.org/photogallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&amp;g2_itemId=2672&amp;g2_GALLERYSID=1d0f2f2fc70039b279e53c9303b9c031" alt="May2009 222" width="150" height="150" /></a></p>
<p>Arden got to blow out her birthday candle (several times, in fact) with both of us at home that night.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.brimberry.org/saga/wpg2?g2_itemId=2628"><img title="May2009 244" src="http://www.brimberry.org/photogallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&amp;g2_itemId=2660&amp;g2_GALLERYSID=1d0f2f2fc70039b279e53c9303b9c031" alt="May2009 244" width="150" height="150" /></a><a href="http://www.brimberry.org/saga/wpg2?g2_itemId=2628"><img title="May2009 246" src="http://www.brimberry.org/photogallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&amp;g2_itemId=2663&amp;g2_GALLERYSID=1d0f2f2fc70039b279e53c9303b9c031" alt="May2009 246" width="150" height="150" /></a></p>
<p>A big girl bed was the perfect way to celebrate Arden&#8217;s transition to age two. To match her modern styled, wooden toddler bed she also got a comfortable, safe, and eco-friendly mattress. Thank you so much to everyone who helped pitch in for this gift! Arden seems to love the bed and has had no probelms transitioning out of her crib, especially since she gets a pillow and quilt. Naps have been a tad more challenging as Arden is free to get up as she pleases and we&#8217;ll often hear a giggle or music come from the monitor during nap time.</p>

The ones from our favorite farm are as big as a house. We also really enjoy the local carrots and apples.<a href="http://www.brimberry.org/saga/v/general_photos/May2009/May2009+277.jpg.html"><img class="aligncenter" title="May2009 277" src="http://www.brimberry.org/photogallery/d/2599-1/May2009+277.jpg?g2_GALLERYSID=1d0f2f2fc70039b279e53c9303b9c031" alt="May2009 277" width="433" height="288" /></a><a href="http://www.brimberry.org/saga/?page_id=73&amp;g2_itemId=2604"><img class="g2image_centered" title="May2009 284" src="http://www.brimberry.org/photogallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&amp;g2_itemId=2604&amp;g2_GALLERYSID=8c6e1cd25d6d9534d518f4bba1bcf587" alt="May2009 284" width="431" height="287" /></a></p>
<p>Speaking of farms and produce, we are really excited about signing up for half of a CSA (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_supported_agriculture" target="_blank">Community Supported Agriculture</a>) share.  Every other week we get to pickup fresh produce, bread, and eggs from a local family farm in Pleasanton called <a href="http://www.terrabellafamilyfarm.com/Home.html">Terra Bella Family Farm</a>. It should be a great way to expore local produce and experience culinary adventure this summer as we figure out how to serve up all the great produce. The season runs June through October and we cant wait to pick up our first box.</p>
