Arden Rae Brimberry is the daughter of Penn Brandson Brimberry (me) and Gillian Rae Brimberry. The intent of this blog is to chronicle her life so that her friends and family can watch her grow and thrive.
The next question you’re asking is, “Saga? Jeez, Penn, could you be anymore dramatic?” Well, any of my friends will tell you that yes, in fact, I could. But I’m actually using the word ‘saga’ in this blog in the context of my Icelandic heritage. The sagas of the Icelanders, written in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, chronicled the struggle and conflict that arose within the societies of the second and third generations of Icelandic settlers and usually focused on a specific individual and his/her family. So despite the fact that Gilly and I intend to mitigate any future struggles or conflicts that Arden might encounter, we feel that her impending great deeds warrant a saga, or at least the modern-day equivalent. So keep an eye on this blog for stories, updates, photos, and movies pertaining to the life and times of Arden Rae Brimberry.

Penn,
Yes, it’s the Glenn Gallagher that once shared an office with you at Radian. What a great website you and Gillian have created for Arden. Kids are absolutely great, aren’t they? Wanted to send you an e-mail but your 2006 address doesn’t want to work. Send one to me and I’ll save the new address. I’m doing fine, working for the Air Resources Board now. I have no cute child pictures to share with anyone, as my children are now 17 and 19 and a little past the cute stage, quickly progressing to the “I’m outta here” stage.
