February found us busy, busy, busy.

Arden attended a few birthday parties (check out the tiara… oh boy!), entertained visitors, got her first dolly and spent lots of time enjoying the outdoors.

We also started to shake a leg and get moving using an army-crawl technique. We fondly call her crawling style the dead leg drag, but the kids at her local daycare call her Scootnanny.

Here are some new stats:

Favorite book: Ten Little Ladybugs or any book with flaps

Likes: bath time, potty time, finger foods, rubber duckies

Dislikes: the jumperoo, swings

Wake-up: 6:30 am(!)

Bedtime: 7-7:30 pm

Wow, has it really been almost three months since our last post? I guess I could blame the neglect of our blog on the holidays, but even that only clears us through January 1st. Ah well, better late than never, right? So many things have happened in the last few months, I’ll just give you a list of Arden’s latest accomplishments:

- Sitting up unassisted.
- Babbling with several different consonants.
- Two lower incisors have poked through her gums!
- Eating solid foods like they’re going out of style.

Arden, Mama and Daddy went to Walnut Creek to celebrate Halloween with some friends. We ended up strolling along Broadway Plaza, showing off Arden’s homemade costume and getting lots of laughs (the white part is a bathmat…). Here are some of our favorite photos of the night:

This month marked Arden’s introduction to some solid foods. So far, she’s only tried plain rice cereal and pureed sweet potatoes. Guess which one is her favorite…

Last Thursday, Arden had her 4-month Well Baby appointment and here are her measurements:

Length: 26 in (90-95th percentile)

Weight: 14 lbs. 10 oz. (70-75th percentile)

Head Circumference: 41.5 cm (50th percentile)

That’s up from 50th percentile in length, and only 25th percentile in weight at her first Well Baby appointment. What a beast!

But I know you didn’t come here for statistics. You came here for photos!
