Arden has officially moved to her big crib now that Gilly finished sewing her cool crib bumper and fitted sheet. Not bad for Gilly’s first time using a sewing machine, eh?

Phew! What a whirlwind tour this past month and a half has been. Arden has been all over California visiting relatives and friends and we’re just now getting a chance to post some photos of her adventures.

First, she visited the Brandson clan in Amador City to celebrate Ama Betty’s birthday.

Just a few short days later, she left for Monterey on a girls’ road trip with Mama, Aunt Chelsea, and Nana.

Then, she went to help Papa B celebrate his birthday in Pollock Pines.

After that, she stopped off in Sebastopol for a Bayless family reunion where she met many family members for the first time including her Grandpa John, Uncle Rick, and Great Grandma Anne.

A week later, it was off to Fort Bragg to stay in Uncle Tom and Aunt Wendy’s gorgeous beach house.

Arden was feeling very patriotic in her 4th of July dress. We didn’t have the heart to tell her that she was using the wrong hand to salute.

Well, we haven’t exactly been posting as frequently as I had hoped, but I think this one is worth the wait. About a week and a half ago, we had the same photographer who took our pregnancy photos come to take some shots of Arden. I’ve posted our favorites. Enjoy!

So, yeah, I realize that this is coming a little late, but we weren’t expecting Arden to show up 12 days early. Anyway, we found a wonderful local photographer in Pleasanton to take some photos of Gilly and me a few weeks before Arden was born. We recently got the digital proofs from her, and I’m just now getting around to posting them. I think they came out really well.

Arden Rae Brimberry was born on Tuesday, May 8th at 10:10 pm. She was 19.5 inches long and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.
